Accountable Mail Tracking on Campus

In an effort to increase our tracking ability of accountable mail on campus, Mail Services staff will be asking for recipient signatures on accountable letters and packages.

Accountable Mail handled by Campus Mail Services includes:

Postal Service Certified

Registered Mail

Express Mail

UPS Next Day

UPS Second Day

An attempt will be made to deliver this mail directly to the addressed recipient. If that person is not available, our second point of contact will be the department secretary.

Tracking numbers now on packages allow us to trace a package every step of the way from origination until it arrives on campus. We feel it is important to continue this tracking ability on accountable mail until it reaches the final destination.
