Campus Mail Services

    Personal Mail Policy

The W&L community is reminded that Mail Services will charge a $2.00 surcharge per personal package sent through our office. Shipping fees and postage must be paid with check or cash only.  All personal postage or shipping must be paid by cash or check at the time of shipment. Faculty and staff are not authorized to charge personal shipping to university or personal accounts.

If you choose to use this service, you will need to bring your personal packages to the Mail Center located in the University Services Building. We will not pickup or deliver your personal packages to or from your office building. If you have a personal package delivered to your campus address, we will contact you when it arrives and you may pick up the package at Mail Services during posted business hours, Monday through Friday.

We also request that you come to our office when postage is needed for personal letter mail. We will not apply postage for your personal mail or sell postage stamps via phone or campus mail. We will continue to pick up any personal mail that has postage already applied.

Special Note Concerning Online Shipping: Faculty and staff are not authorized to use W&L's online shipping accounts with UPS (or other carriers) for personal packages. All personal shipping must be handled in-person at Campus Mail Services during posted office hours. Any department wanting to take advantage of the features offered by online shipping may contact Chris Adkins in Campus Mail Services for authorization and instructions.
